Robert Stevens, owner and operator of Beehive Imagery, and his staff make it their business to make sure your photos stand out in the over saturated photo-market we find ourselves in.

Too often, people book a photographer who seems like a good deal, but all they get is someone who bought a camera at Costco with no professional experience who gives them an attractively low price, and ends up with mediocre photos, if they actually get the photos at all. But Stevens, who is a multi-award-winning photographer, and his Beehive staff are a serious group of professionals who come equipped to deal with ANYTHING the day throws at us.

Arrive on shoot-day with harsh, unflattering light everywhere you look? No problem... We'll have thousands of dollars in battery powered strobes on hand with enough juice to overpower the sun twice over, so we make our own flattering light when we need too. Heck, we'll make our own sun if we need to. Looking for drone photos? We have the most experienced FAA-licensed commercial drone pilot in the area. And it doesn't end there, we have spent nearly a decade investing in professional equipment to be prepared for anything—not to mention the years and years of training and experience that created our style and vision, which offers a bold, rich color palette that comes from our editing style and use of Fujifilm cameras—the camera company who has pioneered photographic color science for a century, and who's film has been preferred by the majority of working professional film photographers for nearly as long.

Before launching Beehive Imagery fulltime, Stevens was a multi-award-winning photojournalist and storyteller—experience that leant him the skills to go above and beyond in serving your photographic needs. In 2019, he swept the Utah Press Association community weekly photo awards by winning first place in all three categories: news, lifestyle and sports, just a few of the dozens of awards he earned during his time in the press. The same year, he won first-place in a state-wide portrait photography competition judged by several of of the worlds most respected portrait photographers—including Joel Grimes and Josh Rossi. Most recently, he won first place in the 2022 Central Utah Art Show's photography category.

TL;DR: We offer a value that doesn't come from an attractively low price, but instead award-winning quality and pristine results, in any conditions or location you desire, that will not leave you feeling like your not just another face in the crowd of your own photos.

Testimonials

"Robert has worked with the Sanpete Messenger newspaper for years now as our managing editor and chief photographer. His photographs have won our newspaper multiple awards from the Utah Press Association, and I heartily recommend him."

 - Lloyd Call, Sanpete Messenger associate publisher , Manti, Utah

"My son had his senior pictures done by Beehive Imagery. They perfectly captured the artistic, creative aspect of his school years. They captured a perfect moment in his smile during a shot in an old train boxcar as he played his favorite musical instrument. They spent time to make him feel comfortable and were open to ideas he shared before the shoot. We will use them again for pictures and definitely recommend them."

Rhonda Stewart, Mt. Pleasant, Utah
